Life always changing

Life is always changing, yet staying the same in ways. I am finding myself changing and the way I address problems changing with it. Stress gone? Hardly, however it is not longer the center of my life. I am learning to deal with what I can, what is out of my control is just that, out of my control. Stressing over things I cannot control is bad for me and I am getting rid of that.

I cannot save the world, I can take care of myself and be stronger for others when they truly need help to change. Until then, they can keep their stress. I cannot stop their negative behavior, only they can.

I am getting back on track, once again :) and putting ME FIRST. Not to be selfish, just to be stronger and better and healthy. I really enjoy helping others and I will continue to do just that. I will just make sure those I choose to help are ready for change because if they are not, there is nothing I can do.

food? goals? i just dunno

I am a bad little blogger! I am always writing things down, journaling (why does spell check not know this word?), recording, then forget to put them here.... all those good ideas that should be shared with the world HAHA.  I would put it on my TODO list if I could ever remember to look at that list I work so hard to make!

Today I found a post with a blog that has tons of good recipes so I thought I would share it:

I do not know why that is lavender in the background but trying to fix it hurt my head.

As for me, I have been working hard to keep on my goals I have set and have made some progress YAHOOTIES... slacked on the workouts for a couple weeks HOWEVER I kept eating good, didn't gain anything back. Jumped back on my workouts tonight and was very happy to see I could still do all my pushups! (flashback.... October 1... start of new workout... barely eeked out one pushup... fast forward to November... 13 pushups and 4" off my ass OH YEA!)

This month I am focusing on getting some easy, healthy, veggie filled recipes we will all like. Hmmm.... now I just came up with a new/old goal... MAKE MY OWN COOKBOOK of family favorite recipes. I started one I write the yummy and easy recipes out and save them for when my son moves out on his own.  Time to get back on that one!

Then again, if I give them all to him does that mean he will never call again? Yea, he'll call when he runs out of food!
